Confused

Ok so we live in a free society where anyone can get information about say:

East Timor or US support for Saddamn whilst he was gassing the Kurds and like, Stupid White Men is a best seller in America – a book, which, I gather, claims that the US administration is corrupt – and they are all oil CEO’s etc.

and like I know the mainstream press, always tows the line cos its funded by Big Business, and is maniplulated by Government spin and Coperate PR companiest like Burson Marteller etc.
But how do we tolerate this? How can such truths be so successfully marginalised?

I mean Nixon went down for what? Spying on the democrates – a domestic scandal
Nevermind support for murderous genocidal regimes – around the world. Never mind that Kissinger is wanted for war crimes in Europe – I have to study his books (well written, extremely clever, murderous guy).

Im just confused, Im not a particularly Ideolistic person – just think supporting Genocide –
and proping up right wing dictators that murder rape and torture their own people –
really isnt the way to go for me – I would have to go out on a limb and say that is wrong

All of this and that can still with a straight face talk about liberating the Iraqi people!!! and we let them!!!! So confused!!
