I wouldn’t exactly call him a hero but he is in no way guilty of cowardice. The thing that I found strange about it was the lack of preparation on the part of the military. I mean you’d have to be a pretty heartless person not to be shaken by such a sight. Do these people not get trained for it in some way. I know it wouldn’t be easy but the could at least be shown pictures of what to expect to desensitise them if nothing else.
