was not so much fascinated by the East
as he was attracted to Zen that happened
to have its origins in the East…

This propelled him to turn Eastward
in his search for what he needed
to satisfy his hunger for what was
lacking in his initial Episcopalean
studies, like footsteps thru consciousness,
each subject gives a foothold for
the next step to be taken…
