i sure don’t know if what i’ve moved on to, or set my sails for qualifies as more important than something like the issues of Canadian military and politics. thanks for thinking so, tho!

okay, i think that even if wars HAVE saved lives, lives could also have been saved by other means. but perhaps you are right and the answer is ‘not as many lives’. but even if wars are saving more lives than they are losing, they are causing more long-term badness than peaceful means would have caused. for instance, the destruction of historical buildings, the loss of earth’s resources, toxic pollutions that result from warfare, etc, comme ca…
