When you put it THAT way, OK: it’s better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, isn’t it?

I STILL think the whole thing is scary, and the fact that the Supreme Court is willing to uphold the detention of these folks without trial at all is something to freak out about.

The Civil War was a VERY unique case, and we had violence and mayhem on our very soil. As for World War II, if you’re thinking of the Japanese internment camps, I believe there is general remorse about our having done that. If we tried mass imprisonment of a certain sector of the American population today, there would be a huge outcry. But see, that’s what I mean. The government isn’t interested in racial detention. That wouldn’t do any good, would it?

Then what would they do about people like US? People who just disagree with certain things and speak out about it. But now, I can be jerked off the street because of what I have written on this website, and held without a trial. It’s a time of “invasion” and “rebellion” (aren’t I a rebel?). Great. Not that I think it’s going to move to that extreme any time soon, but sooner or later, it WILL start to happen in this country. Freedom of speech ain’t what it used to be. Now, out come the knives …
