The day of the Romantic Hobo is gone. In my experience with homeless people, few want to be there, and singing old songs to boot! You are a hoot. Honest? Most bums I have met lie at the drop of a hat if it means pocket change.

Your basic point was good, but you did not convey it very well at all.
