i love the way the main character can dip in and out
of the other characters. This gives a depth to the characters as
we see and feel their most intimate thoughts and feelings from his perspective.

I also love the way the girl said she never hears/feels
music. It was really sad and captured an all pervading human sense of loneliness, of being disconnected in some ways even when we are at our most intimate moments.
