Your writing obviously has some strong feelings behind it, and you’re writing about something I can relate to. Even if you decide not to choose writing as a career (damn guidance counsellors–so depressing) it looks to me like writing has already chosen you. Keep it up!

The only “critique” I could think of is the description “sprawled upright,” which was a totally confusing image for me…
