If you wanna know what “Paeter” means, you can go read up on Latin & Greek nouns & prefixes, but then you’ll only find part of it

It’s not really important (unless I can think of a way to make it important), but it’s revealed later. The only reason Whittlebone remarks on not knowing what it means is because I’m a completist about this universe I’ve made for my writing. Which is also what’s with all the asides-information and description.

See, my idea of what makes Tolkien’s books the greatest fantasy works is how complete his universe is. It’s so complete it’s believable. That’s the limit of my imitation of Tolkien, though. Except when I’m writing a historical document within the universe.

I hope it Will be an awesome story when I finish it 🙂
