There’s a great little book by that title that you may want to check out. It tells in detail his last days; quite interesting. Now as for that film, isn’t that hilarious? I mean…the Corso interviews? His glasses are completely falling off his bushy gray head and he’s cussing like a fuckin’ madman and saying that the common ground he first felt w/Kerouac was “We were both good looking.” Jeeze. I like that bit Carolyn told about re-writing Kerouac’s love letters during the war for the g/f’s and wifes of servicemen back home for a fortune. Awesome stuff. I wonder if my grandmother’s ever got any Kerouac letters. Who knows…..
