i still wish…

i’ll still wish though
on a star or a show
of surprise,
on the eyes
i wish i could see,
on the hope
inside of me,
my wish, like a free
flowing rhapsody
will be what it will be,
and some will call me fool
or worse, some will immerse
me in their guilt and tilt the
halo from above my brow,
somehow making publicity
of the whiches and the whens
and the ifs and the nows,
though i wish it would’nt happen
that way there is a vow
i speak aloud to all
who’d care to listen…..

wish it! –
it can be

and all you see
can glisten
with tomorrow’s yes

wish it! –
there’s no second guess
to all the dreams you hold
inside your soul

and i have closed my eyes
and wished that time
would take a hold
of my confusion,
still the fill of will
can only till the
ground i crawl around
amid my own illusion

wish for me
i’ll wish for you

here’s a tree
i plant, anew….
roots in soil
to grow the bark…
wishes wished
are candles
sparked!
