Burlington, overlooking the Mississippi.
when you look out over the water from the park bluff, it is a truly religious, spiritual, experience. you can hear Indian drums, and smell the campfires. you can look for miles at the layers of distance into Illinois.
if the city would just get these fucking cannons out of here it would be a little more peaceful.
