it’s been several years, but I believe it was Aretha Franklin that received a phone call from Miles, asking if she like to come to his house for dinner, that he would love to cook her a nice meal. Obviously she agreed.

Upon arriving on the scheduled evening, she was welcomed by another man, (his butler?), and escorted to the dining room, and seated.

There she sat awaiting Miles, but instead the ‘butler, brought her dinner. She asked where Miles was, and the man replied that Miles would not join her…that he just wanted to fix her a meal. She ate a great dinner…alone.

What a gas!
