…hehe. so glad to read that you’re all moved. when you say hooked up to the land of the living, what do you mean? move into the city and out of the cornfields did ya? i don’t know, tell me….
i went to old navy (dammit!) on monday and you’ll never guess what i saw. a little t-shirt with torn sleeves and a red pinwheel lookin’ thing across the front…..do know what was written over the pinwheel? “Punk Rock” in black scrawly print…..i shouted “oh my GOD!”
i laughed my ass off loud enough to draw attention to myself, and felt incensed inside all at the same time…..Yah! punk rock, old navy……what the hell. and the weirder part was that these little blond teenage girls (i’m a blonde by the way) were buying them up by the armfull. these t-shirts were paired with khakis and ripped jeans. bizarro world…which is a good segway to the questions….what the hell was i doing there, and why did i spend over fifty bucks.
it makes me mad at myself because in the what, five or so years that that place has been in kansas city, i’ve purchased MAYBE three items….goddamn.
i’m a hypocrite.
what’s with the fashion curve anyway….maybe you’re in a nudest colony and don’t care, but i really don’t think that’s the case…….
