When we tumbled off eachothers words on the steps
Oppisite of closed doors
Where our voices wispered for noone but ourselves,
I realized a few things…
I realized the simplicity of love
is the most complex understanding of you
and me
and what was created when we talked or laughed
This is not ment to be a poem about love
Because love is to silly a word
For my blindness when you slept
For the gaping openness of the world when you left
Or the sickening relentless spinning you could cause
with a look of ambiguity
But this isn’t a love poem
I have realized
That all that needs to be done
to see where i stand when I’m near you
is look down at my own two feet.
