you say “I think all the inovaters just got hit by something one day. they didn’t sit around thinking up a new way of saying it.”

do you think that maybe they ‘felt’ a new way about something, or made an involuntary comparison between two things which led to them finding a new way to describe something? this is how i feel i can describe how my thoughts are formed, most of the time.

i can’t even tell when these things happen until after i struggle to put the ideas into words, and then try to find out why exactly i had those ideas, where they came from.
