when kerouac visited ginsberg in san fran, allen noted
how jack watched a bunch of (allens) hippie buddies
nancing about in the american flag and when they were through
and tossed it aside, kerouac quietly picked up the flag,
folded it dutifully, and placed it back on the sideboard.
