of flies…and Chuck Bukowski…well, I have to admit, I like them both. The flies find the essential in life and Charles finds the essential in flies. Now, Dor…I read your dismissal of Charles and that’s fine and dandy…and I liked your mesquito poem also but I realize you were just funnin’ ole Chuck, pie in the face kinda thing. I write poetry similar to Charles, similar…I say, about flies and dust and lamposts. I like that kind of poetry, yes…I said POETRY, and I think it is. Me and Chuck are simple people, saying things simply, and it may touch someone, sometimes…then again, as in Dor’s case, it may not. I will never be a great poet but I am glad Charles made it…
