that a philosopher called Diogenes exemplified the “minimalist” nature. In fact, this man, who was considered brilliant, lived in absolute squalor under a wall that had sorta caved in…creating a concave structure of some type. People would come from miles and miles to talk to this man, who would, on sunny days, urinate in public streets and shit where ever he see fit. One day, Alexander the Great himself came to visit with and talk with this man. The mighty emperor found Diogenes in his cave and said to him something like, “please tell me what I can do for you…anything you want.” Diogenes simply looked the great conqueror in the eyes and said, “move out of my light”.
