bill gate’s products are STUPID

after using such powerful, easily controllable products such as adobe photoshop, adobe illustrator, & quark xpress, to try to use a microsoft product to get a job done is like trying to paint your house with a 2 inch watercolor brush.

microsoft word and powerpoint are two of the most cumbersome, ridiculous tools I have ever encountered. I change a font, then it changes back to what I had it before. I try to move a text box in powerpoint and it won’t let me move it to a precise location. There are WAY too many tool boxes, too many icons, too much stuff to do too little.

I have been trying to create a simple powerpoint presentation and it’s taken me two hours to get the look i want and i’m only 3 slides into it. I could have designed this entire 10 slide presentation using quark in 30 minutes.

how bill gates made his millions is beyond me. When I try to use a PC instead of a Mac, it takes many more clicks to get anything accomplished. The directories aren’t visible. you could have files all over the place and never be able to find them.

these tools are essentially made for the computer illiterate and i’m one frustrated person at the moment

does anybody have bill gate’s email address? i’d like to let him know how time consuming his products are and send him a link to adobe and quark

oh, but i’m also pissed off at quark.

after being a registered owner of their product for over 10 years, now they present their new version 6.0 and they are thanking all of their regular customers who have paid for every upgrade by charging $899 for the new version ….. can’t buy a cheaper upgrade…

i think i’ll ask bill for a donation.
