good observations.

I’m thinking of some reference to a commercial product in The Sun Also Rises, but it was done in such a way that you knew it was a product even if you weren’t familiar with it, so you could substitute anything, like Coca-Cola or Tide.
But I may be mistaken as to the exact reference. I may even have thought it up on my own, but I don’t think so.
