Dan Poytner’s “Self-publishing Manual” is good, too. He has a website at www.parapublishing.com with much the same information.

An interesting read is also “The publish-it-yourself handbook; literary tradition & how-to without commercial or vanity publisher” edited by Bill Henderson of Pushcart Press….Anaïs Nin on handprinting her first two books, Leonard and Virginia Woolf on the Hogarth Press, Alan Swallow, Richard Kostelanetz on Assembling, plus a brief history on self-publishing in the U.S. A wonderful collection.
