i am sisyphus, born of the bolder,
daughter of no one, colder than the
ban of hearts on a drunken border,
charmed by the apex, threatened by
each and every try to walk uphill, filled
by desire, untired, tried, untired, tried,
wired to a meteor.

i am sisyphus, born of a dangling corpse,
flowered by organic looks, finger motions
like books to read, the deed of being born.
the deed of becoming.

i push my way up to the summit, dumb, numb,
wearied by knuckes white, frozen, frostbit,
impeded touch.

numbing is organic memore, subtle, silent,
deadly born, in as much
as anything is.

i am sisyphus, born female.
i push myself up the mountain
one iota
at a
time.
