that the last page is going to be magical. When I arrive at it my adreneline starts pumping. Its like watching a women undress (excuse my 18 year old mind). I get the same feeling from the last page of On The Road. Once I hit “So in America when the sun goes down and I sit on the old broken down river peir staring over the long long skies of new jersey and sense all that raw land that rolls in one unbelievable bulge over to the west coast, and al that road going, and all the people dreaming in the immensity of it, and by now i know the children most be crying in the land where they let children cry, and tonight the stars will be out and dont you know that god is Pooh Bear? And the evening star must be drooping and sheeding her spacklers dim on the prairie, which is before the coming of all night that blesses the earth , darkens all rivers, and folds the final shore, and nobody, nobody knows whats going to happen to anyone besides the forlorn rags of growing old, I think of Dean Moriarty, I even think of Old Dean Moriarty the father we never found, i think of Dean Moriarty.”
Well – Just wanted to see if I have it all memorized. Made a couple of mistakes.
I think of Dean Moriarty…..God that is amazing!
