It sounds very familiar .. I wrote it down so I can pick it up …. I’m going to speed read the rest of my books and go gather a new bunch …. some art books so I can kick back and Ulysses will be for the autumn ..
But that book sounds like a very good read for the summer … I’d like to get a big book of Giacometti. He must appeal to my existentialist quirks .

I appreciate that you liked the poem … I wrote it fast while i was smoking a cigarette outside the library while looking at a few photos i printed out of his work… It just seemed perfect as a description. This may be the last burst of writing I’ll have , so for better or worse I should write the hell out of myself .. I planned on sending things out to magazines and publishers … etc etc .. this summer but I never got around to it with work and stress and lack of money … Feels like summer is almost over … There’s 200 poems to sort through . Sometimes I think I’m better off not bothering to do it , being the pessimisstic bastard that I am.
I’m still young I suppose.
I’ve been experimenting in paints and painting this summer .. just to see about what I can do. I did one drawing with a butter knife which can out interesting …

Thanks again ,
Brandon
