it’s just a thing. beats wear berets in popular culture. the fact that they are wrong about the specifics of it doesnt mean they’re not referencing it. maybe i just shoulda put this on the other board. i cant even imagine that there would be a discussion as to an idea of oppressiveness, lack of verisimilitude, or appropriateness of a scene from a sesame street reading game. geh.
