it’s nice to read the thoughts of other accepting, compassionate human beings loving something and defending what they love in an empathetic way. poor numbercruncher….yet he is still welcome. i actually had a weird experience with dear ol’ mr. Ginsberg, one of number’s targets and reasons why we should hate ourselves for whatever. i was working at a shamelessly large bookstore’s coffee shop. Mr. Allen Ginsberg was in the lit section doing a signing (this was some years ago). I couldn’t get away so i sent a friend over to obtain mah treshah! anyway when danny boy’s turn came up he approached the Ginsberg table, handed him my puny little paper Howl, and said could you make it out to “Lisa”. Mr. Ginsberg says, “LISA, i didn’t sleep with this LISA, gimme a fuckin Last name!” well, typical or not, i sort of see his truth…anyway, he certainly didn’t censor himself, and neither do those who follow in his path- of themselves or others….
