i’ve read On the Road for at least 3 times now. i guess i feel a certain symphaty towards these poor devilish souls, who’se only way out of the misery of life can be the way down. although i’d never choose the same “route”, the reading itself gaves me such a great pleasure as if i had survived the thing in the book myself.
