jesus, the sexual urge is potent, its great! I see what you mean by introductions now, and the themes: love, commitment, social convention, class, religion etc., but including this, raw sex seems to float beneath the surface of every “piqancy”… so far though, i have to admit that Gerald is the most interesting character – despite his materialistic value systems he’s at least in touch with his passion, that ‘dark electricity’.

I wouldn’t mind talking all this out with you, if you don’t mind, more to impress the book on my mind than anything else…
