argue that just because I, too, am a closet Hemingway fan, doesn’t mean that I admire the attitude/opinions/beliefs of that macho jerk…it just means that I think he tells a story well. It’s like having a teacher with a bad attitude and bad policies, but who is very smart. If you get past the personality, you can learn a lot.
