well I do, but I haven’t read her others. there is a lot of description, which I like. not so much action, which is fine w/ me. hint: i really liked “the trial” by kafka. not that they are similar in any other way. I think Kingsolver is a talented reader. Some people are horrible (myself included). She doesn’t make up voices: she only uses her own, which prevents the story from being utterly campy. But she speaks differently for each character: the timing, the drawl. It always sounds like her, thankfully. So yes, so far, I like it. [On the 4th cd out of 13.]
