I need to really mull this over before making any intelligent comment about it
however, I am a great admirer of Achebe – read things fall apart every year
but I also enjoy Conrad for his descriptive narrative
tough to really separate the racism from the racist though
I find myself somewhat in the position of the author and will now have to re-examine conrad
see, I went ahead and commented notwithstanding the need to mull over things!
