I agree with you that Burroughs is a shocker sometimes.I haven’t read exterminator yet but I’ve read a lot his stuff already so I have a base to agree with you.Just let me tell you this:SIT BACK,HOLD ON TIGHT AND ENJOY THE RIDE!
If it is your first WSB-book and you’re interested in more;be sure to check out Interzone and Junky(+ Queer)AND (for me some of his finest!)the trilogy Cities of the red night,Place of dead roads and The Western lands.Those books I mentioned I think they’re a lot better than his most famous “Naked Lunch”(which is also worth checking out nonetheless).
