Read it a few years ago, when Chabon was suddenly becoming the darling of the critics. Wonder Boys is fairly interesting with a few funny scenes. About a year after its publication, it was made into a movie, which depending on who you talk to, was either good or poor. Wonder Boys does explore a little of the homosexual and maybe corrupting influences of one of the two main characters. Overall, not a bad book, but I haven’t read anything by Chabon since although I know he has publish a bit more since Wonder Boys.
