60?! i met him about… 4 years ago. i went to this book signing. ray bradbury was there too. i had a complete change of heart after that. ray has been a favorite of mine forever. idolized the man. turned out to be a complete ass hole. maybe he was having a bad day but he sure was not happy at that particular moment snapping at the people that came to him with their books. he was sitting at the table for that purpose! a book signing. Michael on the other hand was incredibly sweet. had a smile from ear to ear. he was so tall he made his chair seem fit for a 1st grader; legs barely fitting under the table. he did not look comfortable at all. but he smiled. something of a big kid. greeted everyone. so funny. and i would never, ever have guessed his age. he looked like he could be no more that 35. 40 pushing it. i asked him to sign andromeda strain for me. he was so warm it just made me wanna read his stuff. i hadn’t had a chance til now to pick something of his up; so far this book hasn’t disappointed me yet. now i wanna read timeline. see what i think. his movies: i’m not a huge fan but wouldn’t knock him for it. shoot if i could write a book that turned into a movie deal…are you kidding me?
