thomas wolfe did not write the electric kool-aid acid test. that was tom wolfe. they are two entirely different authors. thomas wolfe wrote such books as look homeward, angel and from death to morning in the early 1900’s. tom wolfe is (was? is he still living?) a journalist from the mid-to-late 1900’s.

however, though my mind has stored these facts therein, i have no idea where the quote comes from.
