Go with Ginsberg, adding to what was already said:….Whitman’s most well-known section of “Leaves of Grass”, Song of Myself, had to have had a great influence on Ginsberg, who used a lot of body and self imagery. Check out I Sing the Body Electric and other poems about the self. I’m only a college kid myself, so that’s the best I can do.
