The times I’ve checked “Hey Rube” must have only been during football season ‘cuz that’s all I’ve ever seen coming from him there. I’ll keep checking it out. I admit to not being very impressed to what I’ve seen from him lately sports-wise, though. He may be a “breath of fresh air” to some, but not to me. On espnPage2, I prefer the Sports Guy. Much funnier.

Good point about his success in various writerly ‘genres’. I hadn’t really looked at it in that perspective (him coming full circle).

And yup (gulp), I’m guilty of dismissing “Kingdom of Fear” without reading it. Shame on me. I suppose I deserve to be beaten with a rubber truncheon and tossed to the rotweilers.
