all forms of storytelling come from personal experience. even if the events of the story are totally fictional, the story still comes from your experiences and those color every word of every sentence of the story. you will find yourself being pulled into a parallel universe and from this point the story builds on itself. the parallel universe is that of people who are not you, who are living a life you have never lived, but the impressions it makes on those people you create will parallel the memories contained in your heart. this is one example of something completely bizarre i wrote that is actually straight from my personal experience. most people i think, would look at it and say, “oh, random words on a piece of paper.” but it was actually a very gut-wrenching thing for me to write. i would stop worrying about this whole question and how cheap you may or may not be, and get to writing. it will all work out in the end if you just keep writing.
