I’m wondering if anyone has read Colette and, if so, what they liked, didn’t like, would recommend, etc.

I’m intrigued by her as I’ve heard that one of the themes or enthusiasms she explores is something called “regarde”, which I understand to mean “look, feel, wonder, accept, live”.

That sounds too good to pass up.
