…Vaudeville of Devils: 7 Moral Tales by Robert Giraldi….AWESOME collection of of morality stories, kinda modeled after the medeival plays that bear the same name, but modernized to 20th century events and themes (betrayal, seduction, Nazism, war)….very Dostoevsky in short story format…BUY IT….
Another cool book with a great title that was HILARIOUS and a very fun (yet intelligent read) was David Madsen’s Confessions of a Gnostic Dwarf…its not published in the US but you can get it from Dedalus Books in the UK (Google it, they have a site)….Dedalus period has cool covers and GREAT books, such as the Dedalus Book of Austrian Fantasy, the Dedalus Book of German Decadence, painter Alfred Kubin’s only novely The Other Side, all of David Madsens books (including Confessions of a Flesh Eater and the adjunct cookbook), and I believe Gustav Meyrink’s (Kafka’s idol) whole catalogue….
