On this day in Oct 7 1849, Edgar Allen Poe stumbled out of a Baltimore bar in quite a erratic manner screaming obscenities. He was found there semi conscious in the tavern. He died from alcoholism in a state of delerium. His last wishes from a friend was to take a pistol and blow his brains out , his last words were
” Lord help my poor soul. ”
Theres no more cognac in the house but im blessing him with some wine and taking a walk tonight.
