with regard to the term, now I learned the definition, in the context of

literature, e.g. –

and the basic reference to (Joyce-‘contemporary’)

psychology

– the attempt to explore and present the flow of mind and senses / sensuality in a comprehensive way.
And while psychology may have undergone considerable progress (at least with regard to measuring devices and accumulated data, trying to escape the vagueness of a half-science), literature is stuck in incompleteness w/r to ‘telling the complete true story of love’ (as Kerouac wrote in ‘Big Sur’, after one of my favorite paras “a (new) love affair always gives hope..”). (And perhaps, rather apparently, after so many revolutionary minds made their statements in the 19th and first half of the 20th century (or up to the confirmation of the double helix..), when still lacking many digital devices, we’re now stuck even more: in the heaps of data fascinatingly arranged, but unable to pierce through to the requirements of and ways to a lively liberated society, globally.)
