i used to have this children’s book called “The Cat and the Devil”, extracted from one of Joyce’s letters and published by Breakwater in the late 80s/early 90s. it was about, if i recall, a cat, and the devil. and it was set in Paris. and the mayor of Paris had an Irish name.
