OTR and Naked Lunch

Hi all, I’m an older student reading these two books for the first time. I’m doing a paper on them for a class in which I need to disscuss the similarities between the authors in regards to these books. Aside from being from around the same general time period and a possible link in a travel theme I find no similarities. any ideas, comments etc would be greatly appreciated
