First I wanted to say that I hope it is okay if I step in; I have had some interaction with Joshua and I don’t think he would mind. It’s because I’m so glad to meet you! You’ve made a huge difference in my life. Here I am travelling and I have your What Book with me! There should be more books like that. Thanks for all your hard work. (What made you choose the categories you did, interesting?)
Second I believe the snapshot idea is just what it sounds like: taking an instant picture of something, a sensory poem alone, with other techniques that give it power and resonsance and revelation. This often means it is one single image or a scattering of sensations unedited and uncrafted. It may be pretty or in the now, but lacks that extra umph!
