if all poets

if all the poets knew their spelling,
punctuation, grammar, telling
truths, while proper in the placing
of their colons, commas chasing
clauses, lists with semi-colons,
thoughts perhaps would not be rollin'
out from some deep well, while dolin'
out the wisdom, you can bet it!
what the hell? sometimes they edit
and some days it doesn't matter.
(spelling? content? choose the latter!)
