the nihilistic poem

Posted to Poetry

This nothingness,
a vacuum around the room
recently filled with pillows and
fake laughter...

an old man
with white shoes and
grey cloathes
is left inside

This means next to nothing
this means next to nothing in the world

he and me, the room, the empty space,
bound for the wind to follow
as futile as a whistler
in perfect silence
