Posted to What Are You Reading?

last night i gave up for the seventh time on ulysses and started peace is every step. i don't know what it is about Joyce...maybe the language overtakes the story- you end up reading a string of words instead of a thought. I'm heading to a linguistics class in a few minutes, I'll ask about him.your posting made me laugh- he has me feeling all inadequate also. and proust. but really the best book of all times is too loud a solitude by bohumil hrabl. is it so bad to think bill b. was acreep?
