dandilions are perfect when youre little

they are a pickable sun--
a bouquet of yellow for your mother

in fall-
in fall they are clocks

you blow them into billowing white clouds
like snow

dandilions change for the season
pt. 2

dandilions-- they are like clocks

they change for the seasons

they are weeds in your garden
and tough milky stems that dull your mower blade

just to turn to a bundle of seeds
that choke you on your way in

and just make new dandilions.

what do you think...
um, did i spell dandilions right?
